Will you come to me, my darling, and hold me in your warm embrace? Will you whisper that you love me? Although I know that's not the case. Will you help me to believe, this is where you want to be? For And just a little while, love me as though you were free? Will you come to me, my darling? Let me be with you this night? Let me taste the forbidden fruit, and pretend that it is right? Will you forget the other one, that has your name and heart? Let me think I'm the only one, before we have to part? Can you give me a night to remember, To cherish in my mind? A sweet memory to keep with me, of a night that you were mine? Will you come to me, my darling, And share love so devine? I promise not to ask again, It will be for the last time. There's one other thing I'll ask, as you walk out of my life. Don't look back, I beg of you. Just go home to your wife. I will always love you. And in time you'll forget my name. Within your arms tonight, my love. I'll believe you feel the same. This is my request.. This is my desire.. Will you come to me?? And set my soul on fire?? Will you come to me, my darling? Help to lay my dreams to rest? This is my desire.. This is my request. |
