Clever Boys In turns on playgrounds or on grandma's lap Clever Boys always get what they want… sunshine on rainy days money in empty pockets candy for sticky hands Clever Boys know how to get what they want for sure… and pay later. I've known a few of those clever boys myself, I think. I like the way you use imagery, Robert. The poems I have read by you have all been succinct.... each word used for a purpose. Nice job.  dp |
