As I continue to stand on this ledge,
I continue to loose my edge,
with my soul,
because, it has gotten out of control.
Once upon a time,
I was a guu with a stress-free mind
but, now I lash out at people like an angry canine.
Origin: God created man
and man crated politics.
I declined to participate in it
until I was orientated.
I heard 20,000 drivebies
and only 199 was lies.
No surprise,
as crimes constantly rise,
thine has seen the end
of a chance for a peaceful world to begin.
In the heat of debate,
my emotions ramble like an earthquake.
I concede to say that,
I will never find,
my own piece of mind
in this crazy world,
if I continue to act blind.
But in a sudden display of rage
I say: Give me 40,000 black angry role models,
take me to D.C. and I'll throw the first f---ing bottle.
I say this because,
I'm sick of all the disadvantages,
I get for living in these circumstances.
My civil rights,
I sacrifice.
In the name of Jesus Christ,
they got my soul on ice.

#1, may I ask why you said "Black" angry role models? why specifically black (I hope that didn't sound predjudiced)

#2, Rioting will only result in a decrease of rights and enforcement against problems...it is not the way to go.

Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices.

The frustration and pain are very clear in this piece. Writing can be a great help for that. I know it helps me. Welcome to Passions, Nathan.
