People with crowded calendars And thirteen projects to juggle Aren't likely to bury themselves Under comforters to snuggle. People who sleep to recover strength To survive a crushing routine Are as likely to dream original dreams As a broken down machine. People that do the world's business, Though wealthy and honored, may find Themselves bereft of the power That can come from an idle mind. Yes, I know they say an idle mind's The place for the devil's temptation. But it also happenss to be the site Of maximum creation. |
