That place with padded walls and funny people in white.........

There is a place of which I often dream
A place where the people say what they mean
Where hate and jealousy are never seen
A place where love never turns envy green

A place where tortises mingle with hares
A place where the bliss is always aware
We're naked as newborns and no one cares
This dream world of mine is just a place where.....

In my lovers eyes dwell crystal jewels divine
In this place I'm no longer the swine
It's a place where I can go back in time
Undo the damage wrought on me and mine

Butterfly kisses bestowed on my cheeks
I close my eyes, there is no need to speak
A world where I've no reason to be meek
It's a place to run from a realm so bleak

It's a place where exotic birds will flock
A place that eats away the horror, shock
With the freedom of a drifting boat undocked
It's a secret place that I have unlocked

It's a place that's home to the unicorns
And baby caribou with velvet horns
I have no more disasters left to mourn
It's a place where I'm happy I was born

It's a place where I am welcome and loved
A place where I am never pushed or shoved
Where I'm not a left hand in a right glove
A place where I'm peaceful, and free as a dove

A place that is kissed in bright golden light
A place where nobody pettily fights
A place where everything's lovely, day or night
A place where I know things will be alright

And then I come down

Sounded like you had to force the rhyme a couple of times, otherwise very powerful.

This is filled with many lovely thoughts. Would be nice to find such a place as this! Only in dreams, for now!
