Eloquent speech is not up to the task,
therefore I turn to my pen's written word.
Passionate devotion lies behind this mask,
an honor to she on whom it's conferred.

To plumb the depths of emotion she stirred,
I turn to the comfort found in one voice.
Love my experience should have deterred,
instead I embraced it by my own choice.

Not once since the philosophies of Royce,
has anyone's words but hers moved my soul.
Enveloped by love's embrace I rejoice,
for I have found the half that makes me whole.

Her fires ignite my own heart's tinder,
it burns until the sun is a cinder.

This brought a smile to my face, albeit an envious one. I should hope to be so blessed someday with the depth of love the two of you have found in each other.
