What will it be like when I leave them behind?
To enter a word to which I am blind
Will they worry, will they wonder?
Will my absence fill them with thuder?
If they find me, will they lock me like a killer on the loose?
But enough about them, lets talk about you.
Are you everything you promise to be?
Will you forever love and cherish me?
Are you willing to give up innocence up forever?
So that you and me can be together.
Are you going to hush me when I cry?
Take the gun if I wanna die?
Would you throw your life away so that I could have mine?
To have a new start, to again glow and shine?
I know sometimes, love makes you do crazy things.
Makes you laugh makes you cry makes you dance makes you sing.
And I know if I told them, they'd say it's insane.
This dream coming true I created in my brain.
But in my heart I know.
This is how I must go.
To leave behind a legacy,
Whatever is left thats made of me.
Before I go, I wish I could laugh in their faces
And ask them why they never praised my graces.
Then laugh once more
As I slip out the door
Fall into your arms and you hold me tight
As the beggining starts at the end of that night.
Cause my heart is telling me this is how I must go.
Forever is starting once you show.
This story of you and me,
Is just the beggining of what forever may be.

TA- please e-mail me, I would like to speak to you about this. Have you already left home? And why exactly are you leaving / have you left? You don't have to answer here, but please email me w/ the answers. Because I ahve been through the same thing every recently, maybe I can help you? I ran away in August, and, after a couple months of difficult thought and emotional turmoil, I returned home. Of course our situations may eb completely different, however, I get the idea from your poem that we both did it for the same reason- love.

Thinking is just what a great many people think they are doing when they are merely rearranging their predjudices.
