Perhaps, One Day Poets are a funny lot. They write of things that we forgot, wish for a future that wont be, describe our life and history. They write of love and foolish things. Then question what the future brings, forgive the past that we regret remembering while we forget. They tell us we can read their book then hand us one to take a look. And somewhere we will find a link Agreeing with the way we think. Yes, poets are a funny breed who try to satisfy their need by giving life a ray of sun. Perhaps, one day, I'll be one! ------------------ I look forward to tomorrow, while looking back on the past. But today is the day I am living. And I expect it to be a great day! Thanks, Hoot. I dug this out of my archives. It was an expression of my hope, 'way back when'. My acceptance by other poets at this site, whos work I also admire, tells me my hope was not in vain. ------------------ I look forward to tomorrow, while looking back on the past. But today is the day I am living. And I expect it to be a great day! |

Toe, I noticed you didn't let me down, LOL Suthern, Denise, thanks for reading and replying. Martie, even back then, I knew I was a funny breed. Just was not sure of the poetry talent.
