To The Writers and Readers of Passions

May I start by simply saying-
You’re the best I’ve ever found.
A group where sterling talent,
In every post is bound.
I know that I’ve but posted,
My contribution's small...
When it comes to posting comments
I seldom do at all.
I probably will post no more-
But let me tell you why...
If I can’t help encourage one
I will not even try...
To say, “well done”, or “this I like”
Does hardly justice do--
To writers of your cut and ilk..
I vow that this is true.
Such tawdry offerings from me
Would seem a dread malaise
I’d rather utter not a word
Than damn you with faint praise.
I thought that I would speak my peace
Before I move along...
and thank you for your fellowship
for Here I felt at home.
~Au ‘Voir~

This poem says it all Gunslinger. I wish you the best in the future and hope you have the time to keep on writing. Take care and keep in touch.

I wish that you would reconsider, this place without you would not be quite the same. I've enjoyed every post that you placed here. If you do not feel comfortable with posting replys that is fine with me. I understand what you are saying and I remember the first day that you were here you mentioned that you wouldn't reply too often so as not to offend anyone with limited or misunderstood responses. So please do reconsider. Some people respond to almost everything and some people respond to hardly anything. Everyone is different! Please know that you are quite welcome to stay. PLEASE!?

Gunslinger....My sincere appologies. As I've already told you in the privacy of e-mail, and will do so here in the public of passions, you are a talented poet. Your presence here is a definate asset to Passions in poetry and I hope that you reconsider your decision.

Gun,
You are a good poet, no need to run, stay and have some fun.

Gunslinger, you are an exceptional poet...

Please don't stop posting - You told me that you have a few hundred poems to post, and I haven't read them all yet - You are indeed at home here, and if you choose not to respond, that's fine - There are enough of us here to do that so you needn't worry... Just keep on posting.... PLEASE???

Gunslinger has graciously decided to stay here at Passions, Mike. He posted this earlier before we begged him to reconsider!!
That's a relief, huh?!
