i didn't mean to hurt you,
i didn't mean to make you cry,
all i ever really wanted,
was to be with you by and by.

the years weve had together,
have stood the test of time.
now time is our only answer,
to the questions in our mind.

revelations seem to come and go,
so easy do lives part,
ours is rather different,
we are bonded through the heart.

i didn't mean to hurt you,
i didn't mean to make you cry.
somehow well get through this,
together you and i.
