Today she was allowed to get up and take a bath. But is only allowed up in her room. The doctor said maybe, no promises, she might be released on Sunday. He will do another CT scan on her Saturday. Only then will I know. Thanks again all!

I'm so glad to hear that she continues to improve--one small step at a time, I pray for her to be home safe on Sunday.

Rebecca...I last heard she had fractured her wrist and maybe done something to her liver. Is that still the current condition?? I think of you and miss our chats!!

Thanks all of you...

Robert she fell and broke her left wrist..The radius was broke and out of place and the Ulna was fractured...that was finally casted the other day...from the impact of falling she lacerated her liver.
What the doc told me today was she had shattered a major, significant part of the right lobe in her liver (A big part of it). It was bleeding, but thank God it's starting to clot and heal itself. Had it bled profusely, it could have killed her. Your liver being the biggest organ in your body. It carries most of the blood your body uses. They were watching that it didn't bleed into her abdomen. She has definitly been a lucky girl. But not really lucky, I prefer to say God was really watching over her.

I thank you all very much! Your prayers have truly helped her!

Thanks all. I'm happy she is improving quickly. Scared to death of her coming home..seeing as how it's an inside injury and I can't see what's going on with it. But I have confidence they won't let her home until they're 100% sure she is able to.
The first time she falls I think I might flip out. So let's hope that's not for a long time. heheh

How wonderful! Watch her carefully, but you can't NOT let her play...hold your breath and pray she'll be ok....(and cut down all your trees! LOL)

PdV she will be curtailed from activities for about 2 months after this. IF she gets to come home she cannot be alone! So she can't play really... But the tree she fell out of is one of the neighbors trees. Our treehouse is actually much closer to the ground. But I know what ya mean! Thank Poet!

Thanks to all of you too!

Rebecca, I'm glad you're home and sleeping tonight...I know how weary you have been and how little rest you have had. I'm very glad things are looking up with Ashley. Of course, you all are still in my prayers. God bless ya.
