Lorelei lounges there,
In our marriage bed.
Sleepy eyes and rumpled hair,
Wrapped up in our bedspread.

She's not a morning greeter,
Sunrise she'd rather miss,
But still she wakes up sweeter,
When we share our wakeup kiss.

She's my angel of the morning,
She's my devil late at night.
She changes without warning,
All I need is hold her tight.

She's everything I ever wanted,
She completes me in every way.
The angel and devil I once hunted,
Is in my heart and soul to stay.

Love ya, lil Lorelei...

Hootessa - I prefer to think of Lorelei as my equal half - lol - but then again, since I don't get equal say, equal number of O's, equal rights to apologies,... well, you know how it is with men/women relationships... I gues she is my better half - lol - thank you for the kudos

Belle - thank you for that verey sweet tribute... I hope all is going well out your way.

An angel and a devil all wrapped up into one. What a perfect tribute to your wife, Michael. Congrats to you both.

My ex-wife was like that, too.....she just got the times mixed up!

Nan

Yep - you was there - but that's our little secret, right? oops - I guess it WAS it our little secret - lol

'Deer - lol @places and time

As for you ladies - if you want a man to love you as much as I love lil Lorelei, all you hafta do is demand intimacy the way Lorelei demands it of me. She is insatiable, and I love her for the way she makes me need her every minute of my life - you may not want to be intimate every night, and he may not want that, too - but do it anyway and you will find that bonding you've always wanted and needed is only a touch away.

LJA...Seriously for a moment, many of us, the guys and gals alike, only dream of what you two have together....and it's wonderful. I know, (and so do you) another lady that would be like this....she'd make a wonderful partner for sure. You have something fantastic my friend, don't ever let it go!

Listen to LJA! Demand intimacy?.....yea right....I can hear him telling his friends now; "That's right by God, I make love to my wife every single time she wants it!"

My heart is so full of love for this sailor, he amazes me with all the sweetness he manages to write..and in truth he is just as sweet in real life. And the part about demending...well, what's wrong with persistance? I'm sure most guys are masters at it!!! It's about tiem us ladies get to demand a little too.
