When I was Young

When I was young, my dreams glimmered.
Now the flame is set to simmer.
When I was young, my blood would boil.
Now the arteries just recoil.
When I was young, there was no change.
And now this thought to me is strange.
How in hell did I live so long?
Well maybe they spelled my name wrong?

I don't think your as old as you think you are--your quick wit and the poetry in you says you're young at heart and wise.

so you think they've spelled YOUR name wrong? Methinks its been polished and put on a shelf, for all the world to see.

You should see what they do to MY name...LOL.

Thanks as always for the smiling wit...

Good one Seymour, hope they keep misspelling it (and mine too!)
