I want to first thank Ron for allowing me to do this.
Then I want to say, I see many of you have replied and have us in your prayers. When I came to read those and update you I found the post was gone. Ron has informed me that somehow the post had got mangled. So everything was lost in cyber space somewhere! So I will post again along with an update. My deepest thanks to all of you!

Okay, Sunday, my daughter fell over 6 feet from a treehouse. She banged up her head and broke her wrist. She also was found to have a lacerated liver! I didn't know just how bad until the other night, that it was a large laceration which would cause one to bleed in the abdomen. Though she was only bleeding a bit, but was flown to a trauma unit where she continues to be under close watch. What blood there is now in the abdomen is being reabsorbed back into her system. As long as it doesn't bleed profusely we should be alright! All her bones, spine, neck, ribs, and head all checked out ok. Except of course for her wrist.

UPDATE:

I want to thank all of you! Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Her name is Ashley! She is doing better. She got her wrist put back in place today and it was casted. They have been watching her HB(hemoglobin) and praying it don't fall under 10. Last night we were close as it came to 10.1. Though this morning it was back up again to 10.7. The laceration on her liver is being watched very closely so it don't bleed into her abdomen. If that is the case then she may be taken into surgery to stop the bleedeing. Though all seems to be going in a positive direction right now. Thank God and all of you for your prayers!

She will be in the trauma unit for at least 1 week. She is a BIG trooper and has been doing very well even though I know she's really scared. I will keep you all updated.
Thanks again all of you!

She has had her IV's removed today and was put on solid food. Please keep her and us in your prayers! Thank you so much!

I will update you when I can. I am home tonight but will be at the hospital again tomorrow night. God Bless you all!

WhtDove, I missed this the first time around.....I really hope everything works out.....it is so terrible for someone so young to be so badly hurt.....keep your faith, things will be ok.

Well, the message may have been mangled, but the prayers are still on a straight path, and you are in ours.

Marilyn thanks so much...

I want to tell you all thank you, but those words just don't seem to say enough.
Sunshine you're absolutely right. They are on a straight path, and because of all your prayers, all of you, she is coming through this.
NEVER underestimate the power of prayer!!!

I tell ya' I am so thankful for all of you here and this place. You all come together and reach out to those in need. Even when they don't need. You all are very special.
This is what a TRUE FAMILY is all about!
God Bless ya's!

Quick update! Her blood count is rising as of this morning. It was 11.1 I believe. I was so happy to hear that I forgot the (point) what...but it was over 11. That is really good! Thank God! Gotta go!
