True or False?

On Christmas Eve I flew around the world like every year,
To spread some joy and presents, some Ho-Ho's and Christmas cheer,
But when I climbed out from the chimney of the Smith's this year
Police were waiting near the sleigh, detaining Balladeer.

"So now we fin'lly caught you." said the youngest of the two.
"We’ve been out on the lookout for a Santa Claus untrue.
Your time is up, we've caught you, so return the presents quick!
You think you’re Justin Genius, but only make us sick."

"Now wait a minute gentlemen. A burglar I am not!
You may think I'm a Justin, but I'm nothing like that sot.
And if you give me half a chance I gladly will explain,
How all this happened and why Justin Genius' insane."

"You see most of the year I'm nuts, a Justin so to speak,
But when December comes I am this character unique.
It suddenly comes over me, miraculously I change
To Santa Claus, with beard and all, which feels a little strange."

"And once the transformation's done I'm Santa for a while,
All that I'm guilty of is spreading Christmas cheer in style.
To proof I am THE Santa everybody knows so well,
I'll give you information only Santa can foretell."

"Let's start with you young man, you have a child at home quite sick,
But while I'm talking to you she's recuperating quick.
Please phone your wife and find out if there's truth in what I say
And if I'm right you let me and my reindeer fly away."

"For you Sir I can only say you need not to despair.
Your wife does love you truly and does not have an affair.
She's simply acting secretly preparing a surprise,
To have all children home for you before the next sunrise."

Both cops were looking up at me, the youngest on the phone,
I witnessed how the truth sank in and caused a different tone.
"Now if you lads will be so kind to hand me back my sleigh,
I still have lots of gifts to bring before it's Christmas day."

And when all gifts were given I returned to the ol' 'Stute,
Where I left presents for the nuts and changed back to this dude
Y'all know as Justin Genius, but that HE doesn’t know,
'Cause if he did he’d turn this holy night into a show.

Merry Christmas

Balladeer, we think alike? I need a shrink too!

nakdthoughts & Alison - Thank you Ladies.

And now it's time to take this news out in the Open, since I have no time left for my annual Christmas poem. Merry Christmas to you all!

Justin,
Well done and Merry Christmas m'fellow "stute-ee". Sorry I can't help you and "deer" out with the shrink part, I'm afriad it's not my area of expertise, but here's wishing you both a great holiday season.
