staring into an satin trunk,
set of lost objects lay in
ruins. many of them with lost eyes, blind
torn dresses, with smiles and blank expressions.
some never knew the meaning of time
yet they lay
in wait, waiting to be found.
broken parts, no souls,
missing from one's that cared for them.
they collect cob webs,
only company they have are spiders,
and dust bunnies.

Ken, I'm thinking you may be lost. This is the poetry workshop where assignments are given and completed. If you wish critique on your work, post it in Critical Analysis forum. If you simply wish it to be seen and commented on, post it in the Open forum.
