Like a thorn in the side
or a kick in the shins
okay, now, open wide
'cuz the Doctor is in

Like an eye-poke or two
of the Three Stooges kind
as persistent as hell
just ask "Deer" he don't mind

'bout as much as a fish
wants to be on dry land
or a good ruler smack
on the back of the hand

It just stings for a bit
but like every good cure
if it don't kill you first
it will help you endure

Like a bolt from the blue's
apt to strike anytime
add a chuckle or two
and let's do it in rhyme

That's the Drs' RX
good for frequent refills
unlike what you'd expects
it don't come with a bill

And in closing I'd say
you can take it from me
just like "Deer" does most days
how's that for "simile"?

So, "unlike" you'd expect
To be "un-simile,"
But those Moose words are write on
As just imagery...

Nan,
Dear co-teach, thanks for stopping by. hope you're enjoying your vacation. There is plenty enough nonsense to go around anytime
you want to make an appearance .
Doc
I think I really missed the boat in drawing comparisons here. Rather than trying to do a re-write I'll think I'll just re-title it "imagery/unsimile". Thanks Nan

Balladeer,
Thanks, I'll be back with another swift as the archers' arrow is in flight.
