Ok, for whatever students still reside within the sound of my voice and anyone else who cares to join in, it's time to flex those vocab(ularies).

This assignment, should you care to accept it, calls for you to pick at least 6 new words that you have never used before out of the dictionary and incorporate them into a poem. The rhyme and meter is still not allowed to suffer.

After the end of your poem, list the words and their definitions.

This will call for some real creativity and make your beloved teacher very proud of you...who could ask for anything more???

Mutters that in order to do this assignment (which sounds like so much fun), I have to complete the last one.   Notices that my teacher completely side-stepped the extra credit hint.

Okay, I am going to do the Cosonoyance one now.

Mr.Deer,
Custom made fer a werd nut such as myself, but ( "why does there always have to be a but?") I assume these must be six real words with real definitions. Hmmm, the nurse shut down my library priveledges to schedule a little more time on the ol' shocker, if yanno what I mean, so I'm thinkin' this might take a bit, what with all the rest of em' off goofin' around. It's so hard to get decent staff these days,
oh well, I'll just have to give it a shock, er, I mean shot.

You assume right. moosey one. Actual words with actual definitions. don't need that stute dictionary. There are plenty of dictionaries on the internet, assuming you have internet access. Do you?

Alison....extra credits? You gotta do the assignment first!!!!

I had to pass the last one to move on .. now, I can play with words.  I think Doc Moose posted his on the Open Forum.

I am glad that you are back, Balladeer Man.  I know real life stuff gets consuming, but I missed you.
