With "endlessecho" still on call
and "Pete" advisor to the throne,
this spit-ball fight seems very small,
perhaps a classroom full I'll clone.

Of moose and men, and ladies fair
with marksmanship beyond compare.
They'll shoot spit-wads from their trombones
accompanied by xylophones!

While some will shoot spit-wads with flutes
a twenty-one spit-ball salute,
as bassoons fire mortar rounds
and tubas shake the higher ground!

When onomatopoeia sounds
the rest had better just duck down!

It's Phfft, and WHAP! and Phew, and ZING!
Ptoo, and ZAP! and Tuh, and PING!
They SPLAT! they SLISH! they THUMP! they THUNK!
Strike up that band and show some spunk!

Ask not what this will do for you,
it's onomatopoeia foo!

Your befuddled ruler,
"Moose the Magnificent"

Gadzooks!  I'm flabbergasted..wonderfully fun poem there Mr. Magnificant.

And who are all these people around me.. they all seem to look the same.

Oh no!  The clone wars have begun. Yes, begun they have.

I heard the bell, the pealing rang
across the square as people sang
Look At Doc, the ol' Moose can go!
