By royal decree, I," Moose the Magnificent, Supreme Ruler of all He Surveys "( with thanks to Pete, " Not a Poet ", advisor to the throne ). Hereby declare this months' assignment is to write a poem about spit-balls using any format of your choice.
Favor of the throne may be curried by using onomatopoeia, wherein words sound like the noises they represent. Splat, Zing, Biff, Bap, Zowie,,( think " Batman ".)
For insurance purposes safety glasses will be provided for all participants and may be picked up at the former Teachers' desk ( now referred to as the "throne" )
Due to the instability of the new regime, all would- be- Spit-ballers are encouraged to post their offerings as quickly as possible ( before the moderators find out what's going on ).
I say it is so, so shall it be. Patooie!!!
