Haiku... * February trees * Gray wings, featherless Fanned out against a bleak sky Molted; pinionless. -------------------------------- Senyru... * Asleep, but shivering * Cold, for a spring night Bare thigh, glowing in nightlight I pull the quilt over her. ---------------------------------- Tanka * Autumn spiders * Silver gray, soft roof A shroud, clings and wets the ground, Strings diamonds on silk. * Goldenrod webbed to asters, The midnight work of spiders. |
