Cheerful
~ By Sue ~

Cheerful
Happy, laughter
Jumping with so much joy
Contented with life the way it is
Living with so much more delight
Encouraging such happy thoughts
Joyously singing
Smiling, grinning
Cheerful

Sue, I enjoyed this and heaven knows you gave us a wonderfully upbeat poem!  Good for you.  Let's count syllables, shall we?

Cheerful  [2]
Happy, laughter  [4]
Jumping with so much joy  [6] [doing good!]
Contented with life the way it is [9]
Living with so much more delight  [8]
Encouraging such happy thoughts  [8]
Joyously singing [5]
Smiling, grinning [4]
Cheerful [2]

Here's a suggestion on a slight alteration that will get you back into the numeric count of this poem:

Cheerful
Happy, laughter
Jumping with so much joy
Contented with life as it is [or]Content with life the way it is [your version, dropping the "ed" after Content]
I am living much more delightfully
Encouraging such happy thoughts [or another variation: Encouragement in happy thoughts]
In joyously singing,[or: as joyously singing]
Smiling, grinning
Cheerful

Now I leave with a Sunday smile on my face...this poem really makes one feel good, Sue!  Thank you!

Cheerful
Morn met with smiles
Reflections cast aglow
Let grief not callous tenderness
Heavenly mirth emanates from within.
A heart content remands eclipse
Delights in rising sun
Rendering hearts
Cheerful

Such good advice in this poem--for enjoying the moment and appreciating what we have and who we are.  Yep--happy is best!
