Ok Miss Nan! I had some help with this one. So, I will have to do it again. Maybe, SEVERAL TIMES.

Stressed Out

It wasn't long ago I tried to write
Iambic meter seems to stress me out
I tried so hard to get the meaning of
Unstressed and stressed the syllables to count

Frustrated I am once again this day
Forever right I wish sometime to be
I bought a book of words to help create
These lines I place today upon this screen

Hi Sue!

I struggle with this stuff and am a lousy meter reader. I wonder where these other folks get their know-how. I enjoyed your poem and am so impressed with your efforts and growth. I'll hang in there if you will.

Stressed out or not you've got the meter right
This Smart Chick knows which syllables to stress
dumDA it's not - Iambic says daDUM
