There is the luck of the Irish
That turns failure into success.
It isn't over
until it’s over.
True Irish accept nothing less.

The Irish are said to have luck
By lightening they'll never be struck
They've fortune indeed
A very rare breed
Somehow they just don't run amuck!!

I’ll tell you it would quite suffice
To speak pages indeed
Of the blessed Irish breed
Writing more no matter the price
