I saw a golden crocus yesterday Through February's coverlet of snow With petals stretched for warmth of sunshine's ray I saw a golden crocus yesterday I surely hope a robin lights today As spring's first blush, proud ocherous breast he'll show I saw a golden crocus yesterday Through February’s coverlet of snow This is all true - except for the snow part.. |

After reading your beautiful Spring Triolet, I automatically looked outside searching for one. Alas! It's already dark outside on this side of the world! Great Triolet Nan. |

Hi Nan, Beautifully done, as usual. We don't have any snow either. In fact, the high has been at least 65 for the last several days. It does feel like springtime. Your poem, of course, would make it seem like spring even if it was cold outside. Great image, nice thoughts. Thanks, Pete |
