Let not too swiftly fade away this glow,
adrift within the current flow, we two.
Set course along familiar routes, and so,
let not too swiftly fade away this glow.
Here in each others' arms we've come to know
desire shall be rekindled, all anew.
Let not too swiftly fade away this glow,
adrift within the current flow, we two.

"adrift within the current flow, we two" - this is lovely.  I think you've succeeded with this - not only does it fit the scheme, it builds a mood - not only does it convey a sensual surround, but also reminds us of our own drifting times...

Carol,
Thank you. Something I remembered from an earlier course. When you are working within a limited format that has the added requirement of repetition, you should not only chose strong enough lines that will withstand repeating, but will also re-inforce the theme.
Doc

Mike,
Thank you, Sir. At first I thought this rhymed with Chevrolet! Good thing Munda straightened me out on that. This is an interesting form, someone said it's like a puzzle (but then again , most things are, to me).

Another good one Doc. Ok, you've got 2 already and I am yet to produce the first.

Me too.. Me too.. Me too - This is great, Doc..
...and watch out for that Lady in Red...
Who let her into this class anyway? Munda, I thought you were guarding the door..

Pete,
Where are my manners of late? All you nice people reply and I just can't seem to keep up.Thank you!
Doc
My Dear Lady,
As you have also honored me with a reply, I am now in your service if you should wish to
resurrect our former "stute" friends, and I do heartily thank thee for your kind words.
Doc
Nan,
Do I detect a note of repetition here? Please, you must explain the "me too" format.
I don't think i've run across this one before.Thanks.
Doc
