They cross from spirit world into this place
vague shadows whose out-lines oft' shift and change
as wisps of fog before a freshened breeze
the path of written words to re-arrange

What form they'll take is cloaked in mystery
above persistant clouds of stifling doubt
which guard our best achievements I believe
as Inklings in full voice scream " LET ME OUT "

The pen moves 'cross the page of own accord
ghost vessel on a course for destiny
let that which Inklings set before these eyes
in time reveal what's not seen presently

Where Inklings lead , there I, with words come slow,
God-speed us on where ever we might go.

Yes, God speed, always! It's always a pleasure to read the fruit of your inklings, Doc!

Your inklings are always worth a meandering of the mind... This is a fine perusal indeed...

Small note on Inklings that you probably know about.  Inklings was the name of an ad hoc literature society that included CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien.  The term was probably generic in one sense that they just took it and applied it to themselves.

I like this poem as well as its partner.
