OK - Here's the thing.. I was poet-napped last week and forced to drive to Fort Lauderdale to party for the New Year...

I'm here now - safe and soundly back home..

Mysteria has requested that we do sonnets this month - We haven't done them for awhile, and they're always a favorite. I told Mysteria that everyone loves her work just as it is, but she's determined to write a perfect sonnet... We can all help her with that, can't we??..

Ooh, may I sign up for this one? I promise not to bring any spitballs this time. Ok?

And if so, who are the smart ones now? I've been away for a while.

I'd like to join too! I should have normal internet connection again by January 14th, so plenty of time left to do my homework, right?

I've always wanted to do a sonnet so count me in.

Sounds good. I've written two sonnets and would like to do another one. Can't wait to see what we all produce!

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Cindi, the reason I asked who the smart ones are is so I know who to sit by. Not that I would actually cheat or anything like that but maybe get an idea or two And as for the spitballs, there was a time when we had some miscreants in class who often were disruptive. I bet Nan remembers that.

BTW Teach, it's good to have you back. It sounds like you enjoyed your trip.

Well, I'm happy to see class is really filled this time. Hi Munda, missed you terribly, your computer oké now?

Hey "Teach" I know I'm late, but can I play too? It took me so long to figure them out the first time it sounds like it could be fun this time around.

I need a lot of help on sonnets, so please [waving hand wildly] I'd like to sit in.  May I take the seat by Sven?  Not open?

Heck, I'll even sit on the floor....

Well even though I don't see her name on the roll yet, I notice that Liz Santos has already posted one. I guess she must be the smart one (I really knew that all along but I didn't see her slip in the door) so I think I'll just go sit next to her.

Oh rats, she already finished the assignment and closed her papers. Guess I don't get to learn much there

but nonetheless i'll give it a shot. what's the assignment?
