Eider puffs of purest white
suspend my thoughts to whirl away
upon the the slightest breath of wind
there-in they loop, and slip, and sway.

The weight-less fluff of dreams, surreal
does weave its' charm into this flight
as wisps of moisture laden air
condense and swirl before my sight.

The crisp night air sweeps me aloft,
a mote which rides a zephyr steed.
From here, now shed of earthly care,
my message paints the sky to read...

Be well all of my Passions' friends
the snow-flakes of my thanks abound.
Best wishes for your holidays,
you've helped me reach this place I've found.

Oh Doc, this is a beautiful poem.

I don't know if I can do my homework, for I still don't know exactly what I have to write, can't open the links to see.

Well I've to dig deeper I guess, who knows

Love yours though and sweet happy holydays to you too

A rose is a rose is a rose...I guess...

Very, very, kewl, Doc... You always do a magnificent job... You've used some exceptional personification... I went back to read your poem again to pull out the lines that are personified... and I can't - They ALL are... Simply awesome, my Doc friend... Happy Holidays to you...

Doctor moose,
Your flying way over my head.
My wish would be to some day write like this
This is stunning
Could you give me a hand up there?

Titia,
Thanks I'm sure you'll come up with something
( you always do ) Merry Christmas
Doc

Nan,
Thanks "teach", So that's what it's called ?
I can't say that occured to me when I wrote this. It just seemed to be a nice way to say thanks to everyone for being so helpful.
Doc

Elizabeth,
Thank you, I don't know how many times I've read your words and thought that very same thing. It would hardly seem to me that you
would need a hand, but by all means, c'mon up and enjoy the view. Merry Christmas.

Thank you for the lift, Doc. I haven't read each and every single poem of yours, but maybe I should because I've enjoyed all the ones I have read.

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Elizabeth,
Thank you. There is so much good poetry on this site it becomes impossible to read and reply to all of it. I've just got to settle for what time allows, but I do try to at the very least answer when someone replys to something I've written. Happy New Year .
