Were I to be " M " to Elizabeths' " E "
confusion would reign I say " M " phatic'ly !
As exhibit  " A " I quote from history ,
I should not be " M " to Elizabeths' " E " .

The odds are a thousand to one against me .
The Romans coined " M " for that long ago , see ,
it's bound to cause problems " E " ventually
were I to be " M " to  Elizabeths' " E " .

Though " M " does have flair I must certainly say.
It's " M " who sends Bond to keep " E " vil at bay ,
While " Q " makes the gadgets that blow them away .
It might not be bad to be " M " for a day .

But then you take Em-i-nem , that rapper dude ,
and M&Ms ( melt in your mouth chocolate food )
I can't stomach " E " ither please don't think me rude ,
I could not be " M " I can only conclude ,

" E "lizabeth's right , I'll use her given name .
I meant no disr" E "spect , and here-by exclaim ,
a rose by initial to me is as sweet
and not such a mouthful to say 'round both feet !

The one I stuck in there just the other day .
The other sometime ago sorry to say .
I'm hopin ' that soon I'll keep them on the ground
then open my mouth and that's where they are found !

You'd think that I'd learn not to put them in there .
No lion , I'm tigered of gasping for air .
I did it again ! I wish they would stay south ,
can't say what I mean with them both in my mouth !

I'll try one more time to clear up the air .
I said something here , I should not have put there .
Oh , it was in fun and not meant to offend ,
if any was taken o'er backward I'll bend ...

to give " M " from Netherlands apologies
and same to " E "lizabeth , I'm on my knees .
Just say you'll forgive me now  , oh , won't you please ?
I'd rather my friends not be gunning for  " ME " .

It’s so nice of the Dr. to write about ME
I feel privileged and honored and laden with glee
To be part of his antics and sharp repartee
Which are filled with the wonder and glory of ME
With all of his ramblings I can’t disagree
And am thrilled at the thought it’s a rose he may see
Though it’s only a mind twisted image of ME
A slight sprinkle of sub conscious pure parti pris
For I’m only an Iris, a trite fleur-de-lis
Who’s basking in rhythms and rhymes penned of ME
The poet’s a  Dr.of some pedigree
Who’s aquired a quick witted quipping esprit
Like a whip he can flip a tight gripped epopee
With his quip snipping fingertips scripting of ME
He’s a gentleman skipper on a ship dipping spree
A master of poetry, cut of marquise
Mellowing essence of clear eau-de-vie

Excellent quip, my freind
Some good laughs, in the glitter of your talents

Elizabeth

Elizabeth ,
Much fun has been had here . Please do remind me not to cross pens with you anytime soon though . I have much to learn , and though I may cull from many diversive view-points , it will yet be awhile before I can string them together as coherently as you .
My thanks .

Titia ,
Thanks . A little hallway banter . I ( we )wouldn't want to disrupt Nan's class in any
way . Can't speak for Elizabeth , but I'm already on shakey ground . Hope to see you for the next class .
