Anapestic's no salad it true
It's the meter in limerick stew
cut it up into threes
and I'm sure you'll be pleased
" Yan Can Cook " will have nothing on you

Emeril does a show on T.V.
" kick it up " he goes " Bam ! " , so can we
You's da chef don't think twice
add some words for da spice
it's the " essence " of this poetry

Bobby Flay cooks all day on a grill
He likes gas not charcoal like friend Bill
who likes hot quite alot
Cajun style but we've got
rhyming words that just drip off our quills

" Two Fat Ladies " like chutney and such
I think both maybe just a bit much
Glad their cycle's not me
'cause it's definitely
overloaded , but I'm losing touch

with the points I've been trying to make
Not in order , a lim'rick to bake
watch your feet carefully
two times two , three times three
anapesticly for goodness sake
