A Spenserian Love Sonnet

Oh how sweet love's embrace does hold me tight
Alike the softest touch by Angel's wing
Caress of tenderness and pure delight
Aloft the stars and moon two spirits sing
Alike the softest touch by Angel's wing
As when the moon embracing morning's sun
Aloft the stars and moon two spirits sing
Two melodies entwine to only one
As when the moon embracing morning's sun
Ethereal awareness fills their eyes
Two melodies entwine to only one
In universal peace aloofness dies
All cuddled up and safe in love's embrace
I find myself lost in love's calming face

Munda

Munda~
Well ... just fudging a little are we ???
Forget that it's great ...
Forget that it has such depth and beauty ...

It will be difficult to forget these images !
And a sonnet to boot !
You little sneaky ahead-of-the-class poet you !

Beautiful !

This is a beautiful sonnet. Wonderful job of the imagery. Thanks for sharing.

I'm always amazed at how well you manage your meter so well, as English is your second language... That in itself must be a challenge.. You put your sonnet together beautifully, with an interesting repitition of key lines for effect...

Nicely done, my friend..
