OK - So we have to do love poems - It's Valentine's Day... But we're going to add the dimension of imagery to our work... just to keep our brains in a constructive mode...

Who's in????...

Nan,
Here I am as promised
it sounds interesting, although I'm hopeless at love poems. Are we going to do poem shapes as part of the imagery? Whatever we do, I'm in. I want to graduate this class and  grow up to be a "real" poet.

Munda I'm taking my seat back, you can go and sit near the door. The Doc's mine! for romantic poems. even if he smells funny.

How about a "glowing" example, Teach?
Well, count me in on this, and I hope I don't have to "audit out".
Can I sit next to you, Kethry?  I think I'm at least as inept at this as you make it sound.  We could at least commiserate in our struggle.

*sob*

i'm not welcome here?..... boohoo!!

ok! i bet i know why, too... you're just trying to protect me from myself... you're afraid i will fail at this assignment because i know NOTHING of love, have never experienced it, and i'll never be able to come up with appropriate imagery to describe love... so? instead of hurting my feelings by giving me an F on the assignment, you're letting me bow out gracefully, right?

that's fine.... i appreciate it...

Nan,

I've been hiding-out in the Sanctuary too long. I forgot all about this. May I join the class. I'll promise to behave, but I have to warn you, with Valentine's Day and all, I'm feeling pretty amorous. I don't know if I can control myself. You might have to send this bad boy to the Principal.

MARGE!!!

can ya HEAR me, Marge????
listen up... and listen closely
because i'm SERIOUS!!!

shhhhh.,..... you can copy off my papers any time (don't tell the teach)....
but make sure you paraphrase,
don't copy EVERY word exactly as it's written
AND....
(here's the important part)
make VERY VERY sure you have your OWN MUSE!!!
i wouldn't want to think your muse is
the same as mine, now would i? *wink*
pay attention, glance at my paper, take notes,
but refer to your own lover, NOT MINE!!!!
and... if there is a slight chance
that your lover is MY lover.... well,
do me another favor and PLEASE PLEASE
don't tell me!!!!!!!!
hahahahahaha.. gotta love it! *smile*

.... hehe.... got it? ..... *grin
