Here in it's place stands this Pantoum
where once no grain of truth was found
gone now once more what was assumed
did fall with a dis-chordant sound

Where once no grain of truth was found
a house of cards full built on mirth
did fall with a dis-chordant sound
as tested rules would prove their worth

A house of cards full built on mirth
who's foundation had no support
as tested rules would prove their worth
o'er what it's builder did purport

Who's foundation had no support
which sentenced house of cards to doom
O'er what it's builder did purport
arose again the truth to loom

Which sentenced house of cards to doom
but in that moment turned around
arose again the truth to loom
for joker/king to be re-crowned

But in that moment turned around
gone now once more what was assumed
for joker/king to be re-crowned
here in it's place stands this pantoum

What did you eat that makes you write one Pantoum after the other? Great job Doc!

Can we please change the subject?
Dr. Moose is starting to show off with his perfect pantoums.
He's got ten right ones to my one wrong one
Does he get extra credit for that?

Munda ,
Ok , it's time to fess up , I was having way too much fun trying to side-step the rules
and in the process may have confused some people ( myself included ). Very few of what I've written are actually Pantoums . I think the actual count ( if you include the one in open 11 ) is four .You bird-dogged me all the way , and as a result , really helped keep the real definition in focus .Thanks again , to say it's been fun would be an under-statement . See ya next class !

Liz ,
Again , guilty as charged , but I'm not sure about that extra credit . If you average in all the incorrect ones I'll be lucky to get a passing grade . Thanks !

Suzanne ,
Thanks , but I have tried to pass off a few counterfeits ( which I have confessed to )
.Hope-fully the poetry gods will show leniency .

No wonder you're "institutionalised".   See ya next class Doc, although it could just as well be the 'Stute.

If I could make a real pantoum
From house of cards that is but doomed
I would in fact a castle build
With aces laced in golden gild
But nothing can inspire this mind
To even forge a pantoum-mime
I guess I flunked, it’s just no use
I leave the praise to Dr. Moose
(Hoping we'll move on to something a little easier)
