Oh good - I'm glad you're here Debbie.. You certainly livened up last month's class..

Sit tight - You'll hear all about paradelle's shortly... and serenity, if you're going to be so disruptive, I'm moving you away from Alicia!!

TEACHER !
I know you're off to Salem
(Tee-Hee ! What does THAT say ?)
Please let me in !
Please ... the others inspired me to subject
myself to this torture !
And now that my head is pounding with one of
Serenity's headaches ...
PLEASE, let me in !

There IS no teacher ...
I think we can take this place over !
IF we could just find the keys ...

And as for you Victoria ... I'll meet you on the playground !

Somebody must have locked the teacher up in
the cloak room ! !

And LOOK ...
somebody wrote 'Teacher is a witch !' on the blackboard !
I'm gonna tell ...

TEACHER !
Where are you ... it's almost Halloween !

Well, teacher ...
See, I got all impatient and skipped school
and went on over to the playground at Open #10.
And now you'll have to hunt for mine ...
but maybe I'll do another one if Serenity, and Kethry and Vicky and Debbie give me some more Tylenol.

And teacher ... you got lots of papers to grade.
And I hope it helps to know that we wuz
worried mightly 'bout you !
We was 'fraid they'd found you out and burned
you at the stake.
Whewwwwwww !

Nan,
Welcome back oh queen of poisoned paradelle,
Methoughts perhaps thou had forsaken our un-worthy efforts .
The lady Kethry is surely mistaken , 'twas not I who did the deed , most assuredly 'twas some impish ghoul.

Did you ever read about a frog who dreamed of being a king, and then became one?

So, I have this very interesting book entitled "The Practice of Poetry" by Robin Behn and Chase Twichell.  We are using it in poetry class right now to try different types of poems.  We have tried some of the difficult ones....such as a Villanelle...we used the infamous Dylan Thomas for an example.  Anyway,  they are most interesting...one even makes you take a trip to the drugstore to by a tabloid....hehe.  If this is at all interesting please let me know.
