T?was a fiday in the smiddle of ummer,
a day to appreciallylove,
a fantabulous time to just be alive,
with the dunshinning down from above.

Sitting beside my parden gatch,
I frolicked with my cog, rover,
he adovesit when I petickle his belly
as he rolls in the smeet swelling, clover.

Then suddenly BOOM! A torrible noise,
and slightening shot out of the sky,
as the gray drew gark and awfully wrindy
before my skeptdubious eyes.

My poor cog began to barkimper,
as shivaking from ted to heet,
we runaced to the house at incredible speed
and shutammed the door, white as a sheet.

Much later all cozy and warm by the fire,
I forgot how scarefraid I had been,
and I laughed at my boolish fehavior,
ascaird of just slightening and wrind!

Then my gog and I ate puttered gopborn
(its simpdillyicious and fine!)
with buttercupcakes and brawstreey shakes,
and a glass of rosedandylion wine.

I'll have what you're drinking... You're on a roll here, Deb... I think you've found your calling...

You're right Nan, and I have you to thank, it was your idea!

I'm just not sure that there's a huge market for poems full of silly words that don't make sense!
