I must first qualify (or disqualify, as you like it) my response by saying that I know absolutely zero about haiku other than syllable count. I hear there is some sort of philosophy about it.

That being said, I really liked this one -- it made a powerful statement, which is quite an accomplishment for so few syllables. Applause!

This is a very interesting Haiku...I like what you did with this. Although you speak of the eye as in the eye of the person seeing the storm, it can also bare refrence to the eye of the storm.
