Take a look around today
See all the shining faces
For everyone is on their way
To new exciting places
The kids you used to chase around
The old school kick ball team
Have come so far from the play ground
To realize lifelong dreams

They’ve come to be your saving grace
When life throws you a curve
And known just when to give you space
When they got on your nerves

They’ll be the ones that you recall
When smiles are in need
The ones to catch you when you fall
To help you when you plead

You’ll always have them in your heart
Locked up in hidden spaces
But now its time for us to start
our trip to brand new places

The road does not end here and now
It merely takes a turn
And roads will cross again some how
So please be not concerned

I trust I’ll see you all again
Fate’s not my enemy
We’ll talk about how we have been
And things we’ve come to see

We’ll share some casual good-byes
Perhaps a laugh or two
Then slowly break away our eyes
To things we have to do

In every life there comes a change
It’s what keeps us alive
So time decides to rearrange
It merely makes us strive

Tomorrow is another day
Filled with own special graces
So smile there’s no more to say
Your off to brand new places
