I thought I loved you,
but I wasn't quite sure,
This feeling of incontenment
makes all my days a blur.

but you proved you didn't when you went
and got another "her".
Just when I think we takes two steps forward,
I find we've only taken three back.
I am going to quit trying,
hence my heart is filled with sorrow.
One more thing I must say before I go,
you must remember, there's no tomorrow.

Well, all can say about the very first line is that if you "think" you love someone, then you don't. It's like getting shot in the ass...if it happens, you don't say "Hey, I 'think' I just got shot in the ass.", you just know. I'm not trying to be a smart ass, sorry if I sound cynical right now. Over all, the peom shows that you have a lot of strength to just say goodbye.

I know the trauma when you see your love drifitng away and its too painful. But when we quit trying evrything ends up with 'What is ' and thats not a good feeling.

Thanks for your replies guys, i think you are both right in what you have to say, but to say good-bye is hard, and it's even harder to learn how. Thanks again.

Cale~ Well, knowing who this poem is about gives it a lot more meaning. I love you so much and just because he can't realize the great person that he is losing, doesn't mean he isn't. He is losing the greatest girl in the world...why? Because you don't deserve his bull! I am so proud of you for saying good bye.
