This is a poem my best friend wrote and i just though i would share with you all and get your opinions.

Forgotten

time,
it's only a matter of time
before he leaves again,
a broken child waits by the front door
waiting in the dark,
the horrible roar of the engine
which she always feared, started,
the sound echoed in the child's ears,
and tears slide down the child's face,
and the loneliness fills the child's heart,
it's only companion in the night

Your friend wrote a good poem, but it's so sad. It's always horrible when a child is left alone, and I hope writing this helped your friend heal.

Oh, this is such a beautiful poem, but so sad and heartwrenching. Children are my weakest topic, I can't stand anything horrible for a child and that last line just got to me. You're friend has a truely amazing gift. It's really beautiful.
