I lay in a field of green grass
and smell the freash crisp air
and daze apon the twinkling stars

I begin to realize what lies beyond our world
many different galaxies
a whole different place with different things

Shooting stars shoot across the night sky
and the clouds float above me
forming faces of loved ones who fly with the angels

I put all my worries away
and concentrate on the worlds beauty
I forget all the tragedies I see
all the wars I hear about
and think about the stars

The stars smile at me
tell me that everythings alright
that nothing should bother me

Friends are all around me
and I can hear their voices in my mind
but I can't hear their words

I begin to understand the meaning of my life
to make others feel the way I do right now
and make loved ones understand
that I really love them

Life isn't about holding grudges
or starting fights
life is meant to be enjoyed

When I look at people
who think their life is worthless
I try to make them see it is worth something

Suicide isn't a way to end pain
it's a childish and selfish way
of ending you life too soon

Nothing should make someone take their life
it's not right
they were put on this planet for a reason
to live

Don't look at life as a choir
look at it as a opportunity
to actually have a life
because theres no turning back

When you feel your life as worthless
look to the stars
and think about how lucky you are
that god decided you were worthy to live

The stars will bring you the answers
and bring you true peace
so you can enjoy your life once more

The stars cannot lie
I know because I've asked them before
and thats the one reason why I'm here today
and I thank god I did.

Wow..this was a great reminder espiecially to me...I tend to forget that sometimes, but your poem is such a wondeful inspiration. Reallly beautiful...thanks for sharing.

pheeeew! I loved it. I love laying up on my roof and looking at the stars as well. It comforts me after a hard day. Great poem
