how did i lose sight of all that really mattered? did a stupid game really mean that much? would this short season of fame have lasted longer than you? i guess i'll never know now, i let you go too soon. why couldn't i see how little time i gave you? could it be that i was too involved in the game? now that i am finally losing this game i loved too much, it's too late to have you back. but i know that you would have been here for me, to tell me it'd be ok, but i put you second, one too many times, and now you gone for good. |

thanx for responding yu lan  i was in a depressed mood, but i am ok now the game i am refering to in this poem is basketball, well actually it should be gameS. i play 3 sports, and this year i let them rule my life just so i could earn the respect of my coaches, which i did, but by doing so...i lost the one person who meant more to me than anything in my entire life (besides God) and now i can't get him back. i don't really know why i wrote this poem..i thought i was 'over' this guy, but then again, i don't really think we are ever truely 'over' our first loves. anyhoo's - just thought i'd share this w/you guys, i can't share it w/anyone else. check ya later gators pharon |

Sacrafice, cause and effect...these are contempible truisms about this place we live, for fame you traded love, an equal cause for an equal effect...Err, ever wonder if life is some giant math equation everrunning through the head of some creature infinately more then us? What, you think i'm nucking futs? yeah so do a lot of ppl (: So anyhow, great poem, that sure sucks, but just remember, cause and effect, perhaps one of the most important equations, and its not even taught at school, go figure! ---------------------- Spreading insanity, one post at a time |
