I've just thought up this poem about a girl that goes to my youth group.  I think about her alot just waiting for a chance to tell her how I feel. This is one of my first poems, so when you msg me back be gentle with the critisism

I long to see you every week,
waiting for that one moment
when our eyes will meet.
We talk and laugh,
But you have no idea the feelings
that I hide for you inside.
I long to tell you my dreams, and my fears;
my happiness, and my tears.
But most of all,
I just wish I could tell you
of my love for you.

The thoughts go through my mind.
If I told you what would you say?
Would you think I'm crazy?
Would you say, "I love you too"?
And if I lost you to soon to tell you?
Could I ever forgive myself for
not confessing my love for you?

Now I tell anyone who reads this in secret,
because only anonymously can I confess
the love I hold for her in my heart.

You definetly have a nack for poetry. Your poem was very expressive and I liked it alot. Welcome to passions, I look forward to more work from you.

Welcome to Passions!

Ah, memories...  If you want my advice (I dont really suggest that anyone actually use it, however  ) i say, go for it!  Life's too short to sit and think about what you should do, just do it.  If she feels the same, well GREAT!  If not, well...life's full of other times. Look foward to your future works.

Anywho, nice poem, i was in your exact position about 4 months ago, i told her and iam still going out

That was a very good poem.  I liked it a lot.  A quote for you "you never lose by loving, you always lose by holding back." If you find the right time, just tell her.  Keep writing

I agree, tell her how you feel!  No harm done by telling the truth.  And an infinite love may be gained.  Keep your chin up, keep writing poetry as lovely as this, and hope for the best!

I can relate to this very well. I loved someone from afar, and I told him how I felt. It didn't work out very well, but I never regretted telling him, because I had to know. I hope you come to that point sometime, and that it works out better for you than it did for me. A wonderful poem... I hope to see more of you around here!

Hey,
This was a really good first poem!
And I know how you feel. But,I have also been in her position. I would say that you shoud tell her,but first really look and see if she might give any hint that she might like you, too. It can put her in a really akward position and she won't want to hurt you,I'm sure. But,for the most part,I say tell her. You will feel a lot better. I'll seriously be praying for your situation.
Keep writing and God bless!!
Kelly
