Just Because

Just because I try not
To let it show
Doesn't mean I'm not in pain,
That I'm not dying inside,
That I'm not completely shattered.

Just because I have run out of tears
Doesn't mean I couldn't cry
For the rest of my life.

Just because I have a gaping hole
Left in my heart
Doesn't mean it can't be partially filled in time.

Just because every moment is not consumed
With thinking of you
Doesn't mean I have forgotten.

Just because you meant everything
Doesn't mean I can't go on.

Just because.
