A soul full of burden,
Lays lifeless by the river.
Once again the world with a structure of hope,
Was demolished by the demons in her head.
The eyes that were stocked with sincerity,
And the hands that once assisted in plights,
Hid beneath the mist,
Dripping with a stench of bitterness.

Her reality had escaped her sanity,
She surrendered her last amount of reason.
The foundations which were her strength,
Grew tired of waiting for any intentions.
Feelings of rage and pain,
Were a bundle and preserved in her mind.
They swirled around the vortex of faded colours,
Contorting her face into one of anguish.

A single pearly white tear,
Escaped the corner of her eyeball.
Sliding down into nothing,
Waiting for anything to cease its existance.
The river trundled along beside,
A despondant slave to emotions.
Her life which was so precious,
Was now all but a memory.

Hi!
Emotions can be fulfilling as well as draining. I think if someone starts on a friendship its better not to expect anything out of it,just enjoy eachother's company and always be ready to give rather than seek.
Don't give up on reasons and slay the demons that arise in  head through reason.

Sincerely
A_L

Thankyou for the replies people.

A_L: This poem was not about friendship or seeking for anything. This was about having no bright outcome for living. It's about having no reason to live so why bother?
It's good that you saw it the way you did though but that was not the message I was sending.

Danny: Like always, thanks for your reply.
