Someone tell me it'll
be okay,
that things will
get better

Someone tell me
there is a rainbow
beyong the seemingly endless clouds;
please tell me there is light.

Someone hug me,
wrap me up in your
embrace
and warm my
frozen heart and soul

Someone wipe my tears
before they burn my face...
please, just get them off my face

Someone listen to me
as I scream
helplessly
into a
facless crowd.

Someone pick me up
I fell so hard, so fast
I feel so weak, so incredibly
weak.

Someone
that's all I need
someone

I loved this poem! I know so many people who can relate to it. I love the line, "I fell so hard, so fast." In times of utmost despair, we desperately need someone to pick us up. Look for those angels in your life. they could be reaching out a hand to help you up and you may not even see them there. Thanks for the great poetry, keep it up!

I loved this poem, but you know, the times when i fall the hardest is when it seems like no one is there for me. i know the feeling of longing for someone, great job. rachel

FlipAngel, this is very well written. Lots of expression! There are times when we all need "someone" to come into our lives and make it better.
