You ponder on your goals,
And jump over the holes,
You work until you sweat,
Soon your goal is met,
You don't give up on it,
You don't have a fit,
You Reach for it.

Little on the Merry-Go-Round,
The Golden Ring, the music's sound,
You pass it and children strain,
You think "They're Insane!,"
A few more rounds to try,
If you don't get it don't cry,
You Reach for it.

This is a poem I wrote that you can read to boost your self-esteem to help reach your goals when you want to give up. In life everyone sets a goal and dream. Follow your dreams and remember that not EVERYTHING comes natrually. Work for it and it will pay off in the end. Need I say more

First I thought that I should try
To write you a bad reply
So I reached for it.

(But I failed.)
I couldnt write you a bad reply, because, well, you poem was really good. Anyways, nice poem. I have heard about these "Golden rings" lol, but @ all the merry-go-rounds I rode, there wasnt one...lol...well...except the one at the frisco zoo....N E WAYz, lol...great poem. Keep writing...I will remember now, to reach for my goals.

THANKS!

"DO NO GO GENTLE INTO THAT GOOD NIGHT"

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men and their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught the sun in flight,
And learn too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
