Mother Oh Mother...Where Did You Go? My mom was always there She explained what was fair. She told me that she loved me She said it's okay just to be me. She said it was my choice in what to believe She said she'd always have faith in me. She said she'd always be here To lend a listening ear. Then one day she disappeared She left a note that said one day she'd return. That day was 10 yrs. ago Now I have a mother I don't even know. They told me her mind is bothered Due to the acts of a horrible father. In her heart she'll always mean well But mentally she'll forever fail. I thought it was my fault she left me But it was the fate of mommy. My mother said it was me she loved I was her child, her "gift from above". I love my mother with all my heart Even though we're miles apart. |

how sad, the way she left you like that. i'm so glad you still love her though. perhaps you will get to be with her again someday. i wish you well. good job. |

I thought this was very well written about your birthmother. Unfortunate that things like that happen. Your a daughter to be proud of. If she only knew! ~~nice writing~~ |
