Dear Mary By the light of the moon At the window she sits, Writing a letter to her friend. ‘Dear Mary’ She writes, ‘I miss you so much... Wish that you were here...’ As she throws it from the window, The wind picks it up, Sends the tear stained letter Swirling to the sky. She closes her eyes And turns from the window; She hopes it will reach Her friend in Heaven. |
