I can still feel your strong hands grabbing my arms holding me down as I scream I try to run but you hurt me more Tears run down my face as I scream for someone to help me why are you doing this I begin to tremble as the pain increases my eyes are stinging from all the crying I see my life flash before my eyes as you go on with your deed You don't stop you continue as I beg you to stop I begin praying to God for my life My body aches from the torture and I begin to shut down I just want to die No one can help me now theres no way out just finish so I can run away How can you enjoy this hurting me for your pleasure my life is ruined now My bruises are only temporary reminders but the memory will remain never to be the same again I want to forget but it haunts me everyday everything I see reminds me of that night I cry everyday and no one understands what I've felt and what I feel inside I feel so dirty no matter how much I scrub I can still feel your body on my skin Nightmares of what you've done thoughts of the dirty words you spoke nothing in my life is the same anymore Every man I see I can see your face in theirs no one can ever touch me again without me breaking down shaking and crying My friends ask whats wrong but I can only cry the thought of repeating it makes my stomach turn I feel like I'm to blame but I know it wasn't my fault if only I didn't trust you maybe I would be the same Your actions have killed me inside and I hope you pay the price and that you'll never be able to do it again I hope you never see the sun again I hope you live life in jail paying the price of hurting me I hate you for what you've done you've changed the way I think of men never to be the same again My emotional scars mark the day that you took my reason to live away |

This is such a traumatic poem as was what happened to you. I am so sorry you had to go through that...nobody should ever have to. I hope you heal with time and learn how to love and trust again. Don't let the monster destroy you...you are too good for that. this is a strong poem....if this is from personal experience then the way in which you have written this poem really gives a very vivid depiction of this. i am so sorry...a memory will always remain a memory and therefore will always harbour the remnants of things past...but eventually...you can proceed with your life. i hope the horizon brings better things for you  Bec if you want to talk...binky_bec@hotmail.com |
